Established in 1984 as a (501(c)(3) non-profit agency, Open Door Counseling Center (ODCC), (formerly Housing Services of Oregon), began when Verla Fuller started a program to help provide rural families with food, clothing and other essential items.
Verla Fuller continued to grow Open Door by making a long-term commitment to serve low and moderate income people in need of practical housing, education and life skills training.
Today, ODCC serves more than 10,000 households annually through a variety of agency housing services
